Ranunculus Dawn

This painting is framed and ready to hang!  Painted on a gessoed wood panel.

Ranunculus is one of my favorite flowers in early summer, and love that they grow in Michigan. Almost like a mini rose.

They have very fine, delicate petals, beautiful at every stage from a little button to full bloom. It's amazing the thin stem can support them through their bloom time.
